There are a lot of Nails in their coffins such as Wafa ,Angi , al naqqed or even Dr. Mansour … Just if we try to stretch our hands of help to them they are true Christians who are talented and who are brave to defend Christianity , humanity and the civilization .I personaly know a christian person who is talented to be anti-terrorists and moslims but he is a very poor person living in USA for his daily bread only.If he found any samaritan to raise his head and to open his mouth I am sure in a short time all the world wil hear his voice..

In June 2003, I was working at the Iraqi-Jordanian borders, (Treibeel), One day a
Young American sergeant called Tolley (21 years old) who called me asking a favor
to do the services of interpretation between him and one of the Iraqi’s detainee,
Though I was as a volunteer for the IOM and I have nothing to do in such services, but
most people from both sides used to ask for such services from me being the only
Trilingual person available at the borders.
Sergeant Tolley escorted me to the detainee area were six Iraqis were waiting me to
explain for this soldier why they have taking bribes?? and why they stole from the
Jordanian drivers some little money (2 JD) equal to 3 US dollars each. .After they
admitted the charge, Sgt. Tolley told me to tell them that they are not only going to
be dismissed from service but they are going to be jailed too. One of them proceed a
little bit forward while Sgt Tolley get more ready and directed his weapon towards him
shouting, to step backward!.. The man, trembling told me to tell this young serge.
while tears were covering his cheeks in a very sad voice that he left his 5 children with
their mother behind him suffering from hunger since the day before yesterday and he
came to the borders in a purpose of stealing little money to feed his hungry children as
the Mayor of Anbar recruited them for their daily food only for a probation period of
a month and that he is very sorry for the only choice he had, and he begged for mercy.
Sgt. Tolley turned himself suddenly and picked up some dollars from his wallet and
offered it to the man while he himself tears were rolling over his cheeks and told me:
“Please Abu Charlie what happened here never happened”, and tell all this six people
that when they are ready to go home at the week end let them pass by our food –store
to pick up what ever they can carry home. When he put his hands in mine for saying
“Thank you “. I felt that the hands I am holding were saint’s hands not normal men
hands!! While I was beyond my control murmuring “God bless America.” To be very
honest, I myself couldn’t prevent a drop of tear to proceed over as myself one day at my
Ex-duty station MINURSO (The United Nations Mission at the Western Sahara) was a
victim of racism and inhumanity treatment, I begged for mercy and humanity, to
stay behind a reduction of staff but the ears of my fanatic and fundamentalists boss were
deaf and the hearts were stony, they give priority for their kin’s and relative to secure
their daily beer in the mission on the account of my children’s daily bread??? and the
result was that I am jobless currently doing the volunteer job to secure my children
bread too“. Since that day and till this day, the feature of that American soldier and
his tears of mercy and humanity are still standing in front of me reminding me with the
Samaritan story in the Bible and always occupying my mind with thoughts of: What
makes this soldier behaves in this way?? Is it his culture? His education? His
background? His civilization? His discipline or his Holy Book?
The question which is still without a reply is: When we the Middle Eastern people, the North African and most Asian will reach such a level of humanity, tolerance and love toward each others??? And toward such civilized people as well. Who will volunteer to clear our dark hearts from hate , feed our parallel minds with reality and facts and focus our eyes on truth, love and tolerance towards all human beings , regardless of skin color ,origin or religion and creed .I am afraid my question will remain without an answer??

    juma’ al samardali,

I hope I can offer you some answers to your questions and some ‘hope’ enveloped in the process. As a Christian my hope is in my Lord Jesus Christ, my saviour who God sent so that ALL of us would be forgiven for our sins and have everlastig life. For us this is the only hope we have and are forever grateful to GOD for our saviour. When encountering any stranger Christian or not, Jesus reminds to Let Brotherly Love continue that whatever we do to the least of these we also have done unto HIM. He also instructs us to remember to entertain strangers for in doing so we may have unwittingly entertained Angels, and to remember the prisoners as if chained to them – those who are mistreated – since you also are in the body also. My friend we are all brothers and sisters because GOD created each and every one of us in his image and HE is our Father in Heaven and HE wants us unified in HIM through Christ our SAVIOUR who is the WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIGHT. May GOD bless you and protect you and keep you safe and answer your questions in your heart. I make this prayer through Christ our Lord AMEN. Seek and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and pray for your nations to be saved.

    Habib (always a FRIEND)
